    We were on a family holiday all the way from Scotland last year. Breakfast was lovely and first time trying grits 🙈 willie took the time to come and chat with us and had such an interesting life story! He ever signed a photograph for us all of himself marching with Martin Luther king which is now framed and hanging in my house. Love the people of Memphis and cant wait to come back!!

    The food was half way decent, but the cleanliness of the place leaves much to be desired . The tables and floors were sticky. The waiter had to come out and wipe down again. Everything in the restroom was filthy. Please clean up that back area leading to the restroom. Also get another restroom door and lock.

    Group of ladies eat their yesterday about noon. Food didn't look fresh but we decided to give a try and support. Order waffle and chicken and the rest of us got chicken and gravy special and one lady got the chittling plate which was about $20 in total but really was hot maw could chew or eat was replace with another main item with refund of money difference. The chicken wasn't done and the waffles was hard but they replace for a soft one. Overall service was terrible ☹️ want be back. V thanks for the helper that tried to correct the issue.

    Shazam, the food was dynamite! So many great options, it's easy to overlook the classics. Fried chicken was done perfectly. Smothered pork chops were amazing. Greens are truly special. Save room for dessert. Yellow cake, chocolate cake, ditch apple pie were all delicious.

    There dinner & lunch is one of a kind the food cooked to taste with love and care. I had breakfast this morning superb. Customer service is courteous and kind the atmosphere is great.
